The last photo from this time capsule of a box factory. I was so excited when I randomly came across this abandoned factory while on my way to another destination. It was like stepping back in time with the vintage woodworking machinery throughout the building. It was as though the company had just closed the doors one day never to return again, everything was left, the machinery, new unused lumber as well as paperwork still left in the offices. It was a very difficult location to photograph since it was so cluttered and I had a tough time trying to find the elements worth focusing on to tell the story. My only regret is not spending more time here, since I was in a rush to arrive at my next destination before dark, I had spent less than half an hour visiting this unique space. Sadly this particular building was demolished last year and with it some of the history of box manufacturing in Nova Scotia.
