For several gluing processes on or inside the tunnel, there was no good way to clamp the part using conventional methods. By putting a bag inside the tunnel and a bag over the tunnel, we were able to easily glue some parts that would have ordinarily been very difficult and time consuming. If the inner bag is vented to the outside air, it will automatically begin to inflate as the outer bag is vacuumed. This means the inner bag is pushing out from inside the tunnel with the same force as the outer bag is pushing in from outside the tunnel. We used the inner bag to glue pieces to the inside of the tunnel, as well as to support the tunnel while gluing pieces like the u-channel to the outside of the tunnel.
