Sitting pretty!

This Mourning dove is sitting on a bird feeder I made totally from used material, the roof is made from shutter slots that I kept from the first renovation, I love using copper, as you see here it has developed green patina, it takes 20 years for the copper to turn green,
Doves gather around the pond most of the day during the winter,
Spring and Summer nesting on the trees around the garden.

A visitor on the Dovecote!

Now tell me if there is no love here, so many places to land on our house and yet he chose the Dovecote, after I came home this morning I saw him eating the seeds I placed for him, he gave me something back he flew on the Dovecote, a pose looking at me in the kitchen is the best thank you for me:-)
A compartmental structure, often raised on a pole, for housing domesticated pigeons. in my case I made this Dovecote 12 years ago and redid the roof and painted 3 years ago.
