Adobe CS6 – How Can This Help Your Business?

Adobe CS6 – how can this suite help your business?

Early last year Adobe launched Creative Suite 6 (CS6), and with it brought some amazing new tools and features that are unparalleled when compared to previous models. What really makes CS6 stand out is how simple it is to use. Adobe has really taken the time to listen to what people have to say and has engineered a more bespoke platform that can enhance and benefit your workflow.

Creative Suite has played a fundamental role in design over the years and it can now be said it’s a key part to your offering whether you’re a designer, developer, photographer or social media agency professional. With CS6 you can’t help but make comparisons to its predecessor.

While CS5 was a great step forward, CS6 is a huge leap into the future. The biggest updates most important to a designer can be found within Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Photoshop CS6: What can the new tools help you with?

Photoshop is an internationally renowned program that can enhance your creativity with its amazingly fast performance powered by the Adobe Mercury Graphics Engine. Its groundbreaking new Content-Aware tools and re-engineered design tools feel more tailored and powerful but the hero tools are CSS export and Background Save. CSS export lets you instantly generate CSS from text and shape styling within Photoshop, this coding can be simply pasted into your favorite web editor to design websites in less time. With the Background Save option you can keep working even while saving the largest of Photoshop files in the background, which is a real improvement that can help your productivity soar.

The new Photoshop offers over 62 per cent more new features than the previous version. The new interface is a welcomed upgrade; thanks to several slick interface tricks and the removal of a redundant toolbar, productivity can definitely be boosted and frustration eliminated. The good thing about Adobe is it caters for the masses, so you can revert back to the original interface if needed, but why would you? Housed within a slick modern user interface, this upgrade can help your business surpass expectations quicker and more efficiently.

InDesign CS6: What can the new tools help you with?

Most professionals in the publishing industry use InDesign. It’s natural for people to be intrigued by what has changed in InDesign CS6 so here are some features creating industry buzz.

The growing popularity of smartphones and tablets has led to high expectations for digital imagery and usability, but, as you may know, the wide variety of devices causes problems for designers and developers. Annoyingly, you can be forced to resized and rework projects for each device. Adobe InDesign has shown great attention to this issue by including a new feature called Liquid Layout. This feature addresses the problem with multiple layouts for various screens, making the work for a designer easier and faster. Now you can create elegant and engaging layouts for print, tablets and other screens.

Other features make it faster and easier than ever to efficiently design page layouts for print or screens. You can improve productivity with time savers such as split window, content collector tools, grayscale preview, easy access to recently used fonts and much more. InDesign CS6 is pushing the boundaries.

Illustrator CS6: What can the new tools help you with?

CS6 moves the bar even higher with Illustrator. With precision and speed, you can create and work with large files without fear of it crashing. Illustrator has listened to its core consumer and has integrated a modern interface to streamline daily tasks. The user can now enjoy a tracing engine like no other, seamless pattern creation and the application of gradients within strokes.

Adobe Creative Suite 7 (CS7)

As we move forward its so exciting Adobe are rumored to be working on CS7, I wonder what features they will bring out next, one thing we’re sure of it will be amazingly helpful to your business if it is based on CS6.

Working for an integrated search, social media and PR agency, I have used many tools within Creative Suite 6. Whilst I’m still exploring, I can say it has benefited our offering for many clients. I feel as if I have enhanced my creativity and performance, meaning the investment has been truly worthwhile.

5 Quick Tips For Preparing And Cooking Grilled Pizza

Whether you’re grilling for a small group or a large crowd, pizza is a great choice for every party menu. It’s easy to make yet filling, not to mention delicious! It’s also a safe choice even if you’re expecting children at your party. These 5 quick tips for preparing and cooking grilled pizza will help you have a wonderful meal at your next backyard barbecue.

Use a gas grill if you’re a beginner

If it’s your first time to grill pizza, experts recommend using a gas grill because the temperature can be regulated easily. A charcoal grill works fine as well (some even claim it’s better for achieving the delicious smoky taste), but given that the dough cooks quickly, you would have to be extra attentive to keep your heat at the right temperature until the dish is cooked through.

Choose your dough

The dough is the heart of a pizza, so be sure to get a good quality one that can withstand the heat of the grill. You can buy some ready-made ones at your local grocery store but you can always opt to make your own for better results.

Prepare toppings beforehand

Whether you’re baking or grilling pizza, it’s important to have your toppings ready and within reach once you start the fire. Make sure that you’ve sliced your onions, grated your cheese, chopped your mushrooms and any other preparations needed. Experts also recommend pre-cooking your meat so that once it hits the grates, it will be cooked through.

Flip the dough right

Flipping the dough while cooking on the grates isn’t the easiest thing to do especially if you’re a first timer. Use pizza peels (wooden or metal) for this. Use long-handled tongs to assist with turning the dough over – grab the dough at the edge then slide it onto the peel for turning. However, if your peel is metal, you can use it as a spatula for turning the dough.

Prepare your cheese

Cheese is one of the ingredients that may make or break your grilled pizza. Make sure to use grated or very finely diced cheese for your pizza so that it melts faster with the heat of the grill and cover your dough evenly once cooked.

Many people say that pizza cooked on a grill is the best variety because it has a more natural taste to it on top of the appetizing smoky flavour. Follow these 5 quick tips for preparing and cooking grilled pizza for better results!

Turkey Fryers – Electric or Propane?

Given the proximity of the up coming holidays, many people have been considering deep frying a turkey for the first time. There are many different kinds of turkey fryers out there to choose from. Primarily outdoor propane deep fryers or indoor counter top electric fryers. The differences between an outdoor deep fryer and an electric fryer vary greatly. We will start with electric turkey fryers.

First and foremost, electric fryers are made for indoors. You can take your electric fryer outdoors to use one day at a time. But you should bring it back indoors once everything has cooled, and put it away. It should never be left out on your patio like a backyard grill. The morning dew alone is enough to ruin the inner workings of an electric deep fryer.

You can take an electric deep fryer camping if you have electricity, but you can forget about tailgating with one unless you have a generator.

An electric turkey fryer can be a large counter top deep fryer. My first fryer was an electric counter top turkey fryer. It not only fries small turkeys as well as deep frying anything you want, but you can also steam and boil with it. I’ve been known to make Low Country Boil right in my house in the middle of the winter.

Not all so-called electric turkey fryers, are actually deep fryers. These units work with high radiant heat. They technically roast, not deep fry. There is really no oil involved. Less mess to clean up. You can roast other meats in these units, but you can not fry up a batch of french fries in one of these.

Most electric turkey fryers have a safety shut off feature if the oil becomes too hot. They mostly all have a thermometer or temperature gauge as well. This is a great feature because most of these units will tell you that your oil is up to temperature by a light on the gauge or unit. This is also good if you are frying things other than turkey. If you are frying up multiple batches of things, like Buffalo wings or onion rings, you should always let your oil come back up to temperature between batches.

Now, speaking of oil temperatures, electric fryers do take longer to heat oil than outdoor propane deep fryers. It also takes longer between batches to come back up to temperature. You want fried crispy food, not oil logged greasy food. So pay attention to your oil temperatures. Don’t get hasty and put food in before it’s time.

Lastly, you don’t have to worry about the kids and the dog needing to have somewhere else to play. Odds are they are not playing on the counter top or in the kitchen, so the odds of your indoor electric turkey fryer getting knocked over by a game of soccer or football are next to nil.

Now we’ve discussed electric turkey fryers. Let’s move on to outdoor propane turkey fryers.

There is the issue of LP gas. You must have a propane tank to cook with, but this affords portability and versatility. You can go anywhere! The beach, camping, tailgating, or even just a different place in your back yard. And speaking of versatility a traditional turkey fryer consists of a stock pot and an outdoor propane cooker. Not only can you deep fry with them, you can stew, boil and steam food. You can make chili for a cold weather camp out or have a New England clam bake right in your back yard. Always make sure you have an extra LP tank around, just in case.

Have you ever deep fried food in your house? The fact that your outdoors is great, because now your whole house won’t smell like you deep fried a turkey two or three days later.

Even though you are outdoors there are still safety features to keep in mind. You always want to be on stable, sturdy ground, and not near any buildings or materials that can catch fire. The kids and the dog will now have to find a different place to play than where you are set up. If it rains you cannot take your outdoor turkey fryer indoors. Do not take it on the porch or in the garage, as this could just end in a really bad day!!!

Frying oil will heat faster with a propane fryer than an electric one. Even after you put a whole turkey in the oil, it takes a significantly less time to come back up to temperature, than if you were using electricity. Most traditional outdoor fryers do not have a built-in temperature gauge though. You need a deep fryer thermometer and you need to monitor your temps. There will be no little light telling you that the oil is ready. There is no safety shut off either. Again you need to monitor your temperatures and turn your regulator valve down if need be.

Traditional turkey fryers always run the risk of overflow and flare ups. This can occur if placing the bird too quickly into the fryer, or if it is wet or not properly thawed. A way to avoid the danger of overflow and flare ups is to get a safer fryer. These units typically have the flame on the back side and self-contained fire tubes. Any overflow that may occur would happen at the front of the unit. No hot oil or flame should ever come in contact. All the same safety precautions should still be taken. Like having an all-purpose fire extinguisher handy at all times and protective gloves.

Electric or propane, indoors or outdoors, you should never use water on a hot oil fire.

Never leave your fryer unattended, indoors or outdoors.

Whether you decide on an indoor electric turkey fryer or an outdoor propane deep fryer, weigh your options, research, and make an informed decision. Which fryer is best? That decision can only be made by you.

The Best iPhone Ever? We Talk iPhone 6S Post Release

The Apple iPhone 6S & 6S Plus are both the latest releases from Apple to try and set a new benchmark in the market. Apple products are world renowned for build quality and consistency. These new handsets make other manufactures look on with envy.

With a new rose gold aluminium finish to ensure everyone around you knows your rocking the “S” series, they still make me want to hold them for a millisecond longer. Waking up in the morning to that harsh but reassuring feel of stone cold aluminium still makes me smile inside. I love quality feeling products. From Apple, to Android and back to Apple – I can’t say that about any other devices I have owned.

Some sources are recommending the larger 6S Plus as the “preferred choice” for anyone looking to get hold of one of these beasts, due to the larger screen and larger battery. I would rather say: go with what fits your needs. I have children, so the 6S Plus is ideal for keeping the kids quiet on long journeys, or boring trips to the supermarket. Multimedia consumption on the iPhone 6S (as was with the standard 6) is a really pleasurable experience.

The biggest and most noticeable change to come to the iPhone 6S & 6S Plus is the new screen technology called 3D touch. It lets you access quick options and common tasks by holding down on an App icon with a little pressure. To be honest, it’s a great addition. During my Android days, it was great to have an options button for apps to complete quick and common app functions. By holding down on an app, you are presented with a quick actions menu, which differs from app to app. Apple should have added this function years ago in my opinion. But better late than never and it works beautifully.

Using the new 3D Touch technology, you are now also able to use the keyboard as a virtual mouse. Well kind of. Before, if you made a typing boo-boo, you would hold your finger down on the text input field until the bubble appeared and drag the cursor to the desired place on the page where you want to make the edit. Say goodbye to that bubble.

Editing is now instigated by moving your finger on the keyboard (with a little downward pressure) and whala – your cursor appears and you can start moving it to your desired position on the screen.

The camera has also been improved. I have always rated the camera’s in the iPhones regardless of megapixel hype. The new 12MP rear camera is magnificent! It’s also capable of shooting 4K video. But be warned, 4K recording with require lots of internal memory and storage. The files get pretty big, pretty fast!

OK, so it’s not all graces and applause from me. Those horrid antenna lines that stand out on the back of the phone are still prominent, no matter which direction you look at them and the slippy back has almost cost me my handset a few times already. That pretty much demands that a case is used, but it’s a shame to cover up such a great piece of technology.

That being said, the 6S and 6S Plus are both made from stronger aluminium than the standard 6, which is noticeable when you pick up the new handsets. They are also marginally thicker than the 6. Not by much, but it’s noticeable.

I can’t help but think that the “S” series is a testing unit – for bigger and better things to come. Take 3D touch for example – 90+ sensors under the screen measuring the pressure of your every touch – but only works with Apple’s apps. The 4K video recording – I mean, it’s a great to have, but how many of us have 4K ready multimedia systems at home. I don’t for sure. It’s still not as main stream as people hoped and it won’t be until the cost of 4K products comes down. Samsung has been including 4K recording in some of its handsets since back in 2013. And I don’t know if many people actually take full advantage of it. It’s really a pro feature, great to have but better left disabled for the time being.

I could go on and on about the new Apple handsets but that’s not going to happen. Why? Because you can find that stuff all over the internet. What I want to do is cover the question of – Is it the best phone ever made and is it worth your upgrade?

Saying that something is the best ever instantly deflates other manufacturers efforts and I believe that it’s not fair to do that.

Is it the best iPhone ever? In my opinion, No. The reason I say that is because the features that the iPhone 6 offers are, well, more useful today. Everything that you need to do on a day to day basis is easily achieved by the 6, and in my opinion, the 6 is the best iPhone for the normal consumer. I am by no means saying that the 6S is not a worthy contender for your hard earned cash, but how many of those bells and whistle’s can be used everyday? Sure, you will look great putting down an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus on the table at your local watering hole, but have no room on your phone for anything else, once you have taken a few 4K “showing off” videos.

If you currently rock an iPhone 5 or 5S, the 6S will blow you away. It’s a fantastic piece of hardware and you’ll be pleased with it.

My 6 is still my everyday driver. The 6S is going back on Monday. Nice, but not worth it at the moment I’m afraid.

Re-Purposing Leftovers

Most recipes are geared to servings for 6 or so, and for those who have less than that, or have picky kids, leftovers are an issue. What do you do with the leftovers? Persnickety won’t eat them. Make it into something that you like, something you can recycle! The Persnicketys of the world do not like leftovers. They must be disguised, and the best way is to plan your menu.

-Don’t have stew the first night of the week, have tacos. The next day it could become taco soup with leftover corn, canned tomato, chopped onions. Cooked shrimp becomes shrimp scampi the next night, and if that does not do it, make a shrimp stew with cream of potato and cream of shrimp, along with some half and half, garlic, and red pepper.

-Leftover corn, green beans, noodles, squash? Vegetable soup. Keep some chicken stock around, and stock your kitchen with basics like cream of mushroom and chopped or diced tomato. The noodles can become soup with carrots and celery or another noodle salad with your excess meat leftovers. The raw carrots become sauted carrots and later boiled carrots and then salad. The roasted vegetables can be lunch the next day!

-If you prepare twice the amount of noodles or veggies, you can make soup or pasta later in the week. Extra rice? make pudding, breads, meatballs. Anticipate barbecue and sandwiches out of pot roast.

-Make sure you store leftovers well. Glass is best-nothing leaks into your food and you can see through it. Use sandwich bags and freezer bags! Label and date, always, or you end up with frozen lumps of mystery. Take the challenge to eat leftovers at least once a week.

-Do you pack a lunch for yourself, the spouse, or the kids? Turn dinner into lunch. Its a way to eat healthy all week, and eat well. Cheese crackers be gone! Sour cream, salsa, and shredded cheese can solve, hide, or transform many leftovers.

-Make vegetable soup or stew from those vegetables that were a side dish. Keep your vegetable scraps! A very easy and simple way is to puree with broth or half and half. Voila! Add croutons or shredded cheese and you have an instant meal. Another way to use those scraps it to add to a freezer bag, and keep adding. When the bag is full, dump it in a pot. Instant soup, just add broth and diced tomato. Alternatively, you can boil in broth and strain for vegetable stock.

-Stale bread becomes french toast, croutons, stuffing, or bread to dip in a herbed olive oil.

-You can always add those scraps to lettuce and make a salad with your favorite dressing.

Everything has a solution and can become something new-it just takes a little thought and organization.

How To Make Money With Music

Generating income or monetizing work poses a big challenge for musicians anywhere. In this technology driven world, selling music becomes harder and harder each year. The competition is not the only thing that’s stiff, but the music evolution and audience are much harder to please. There are more genres, more artists and other complex ways of selling stuff. You always need to be ahead of the curb and you must be knowledgeable of today’s way of making money off from music.

The old ways of marketing music such as playing gigs and demos can’t be relied on heavily nowadays. You could still earn through this method but face it, earning this way will never be enough to compensate your monthly needs and it is physically draining too, touring from city to city each day.

There are multiple ways to earn money with music. Well tackle each one and differentiate what’s best suited for you and your band.

Live Shows – Truth be told, this method can still bring in a good payday if you can sell tickets or attract a good number of crowd to attend your gig. It’s not the most reliable option but it could suffice for some. One of the good things though is the spread of word and referrals which could land you another show in the near future.

Cover Gigs – For some musicians, doing a cover gig is draining and it doesn’t really help you in promoting your band. That may be true, but the need for cover gigs around the country is still high. This method could still bring in a good amount of money if you get hired by the right people. The audience and event will vary from a children’s party, bars, restaurants, corporate meetings, weddings, etc. The problem is, for most independent musicians, you can never really choose your audience when you do cover gigs.

CD Sales and Demos – If you’re going to play gigs or a live show, be sure to have a demo at hand. There are still audiences that would buy them in person and it’s a good way to earn a little extra income. Don’t rely on this method heavily though as the physical sales are declining steadily in the past few years.

Music Lessons – This could be a very good extra income for musicians. Although music sessions only run a couple times a week, earning a little extra income would be a big help to you. You can teach people on how to play multiple instruments and create a friendly bond with your students. It also allows you to hone your craft as well.

There’s no doubt that the ways stated above could earn you extras. However, there are a few more methods on how to make money in music and these are more money generating if done accordingly. You need to understand that the music industry in constantly evolving together with today’s technology. While the physical sales and direct marketing are still in play today, there’s no denying that the audience who are listening and buying are opting for the convenient way, which means buying music from the comforts of their home or anywhere they may be at.

Music Licensing – This would truly enhance your chances of getting a big payday and you could even get a recurring payment if you license your music. Music licensing is the licensed use of copyrighted music. If you are an owner of a copyrighted music, you are ensured of compensation if your music is used by others. The fees also vary differently and can be negotiated. With more TV shows, commercials, films, movies and games today, the need for licensed music is at an all time high. Different industries need music content to their businesses.

YouTube – There’s no denying that this is the site to go to listen and watch all the tracks or news you’ve missed out for the past week or so. Businesses, movies, games and a lot more are campaigning through this site today. Did you know that you could get paid if it is proven that other people are using your music content for their own advertisements? YouTube has a content ID system which tracks duplicate music content and videos through their database. But before all that, you need to get your music licensed first.

Streaming – Music streaming is a big hit today. With the inevitable fall or the physical and digital sales for the past few years, streaming has gained a significant rise and will continue to do so in the next decade as people opt for this method. The worldwide streaming revenue is on the rise, outperforming digital sales and physical sales altogether. Streaming doesn’t require the downloaded files of music or videos so it doesn’t consume any space for your computers or smart phones. It is overly convenient for people nowadays as they could listen to any track from anywhere and anytime. If you got your music licensed, explore the possibilities of streaming as this is the way to go not only for today but for the future as well.

Making money off from music is complex and you need to be extra innovative as this profession has always been competitive in every aspect. Do not hesitate to license your music as the door it unlocks has unlimited possibilities and opportunities. Asia’s Millionaire Tutors

Picture a young, well-dressed man, who earns over $1 million dollars a year, owns several exotic sport’s cars, dresses in the best suits money can buy and is idolized by tens of thousands of teenagers. You might think this person is a pop star, professional athlete, or famous actor, but you probably wouldn’t expect to find out this person actually a tutor from Hong Kong. Asia is the home to an interesting phenomenon where tutors can earn over a million dollars a year and are treated like celebrities.

In Hong Kong, big name tutors are multimillionaires, and even average celebrity tutors earn more than US$120,000 a year. Government teachers take home less than half that. In South Korea celebrity tutors can make more than $4 million per year. This phenomenon has been driven by a number of variables but a major one is the strong desire students have to perform well on high-stakes entrance examinations that can determine the future success of an individual. The following article looks at several tutors from countries such as Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore who have turned their tutoring careers into a source of wealth and celebrity.

Rose Lee English Teacher, South Korea

Korea is home to many celebrity tutors who have become wealthy in large part to the growth of online tutoring. Companies in South Korea such as MegaStudy allow South Korean students to buy access to videos of tutoring classes through their website. This has enabled the top tutors in the country to reach tens of thousands of tutors, and take a share of the revenue. One celebrity tutor benefiting from online tutoring sales is South Korean English teacher Rose Lee. Rose Lee is one of the most successful, and famous English teachers in Korea. She goes buy the title “Queen of English” and makes most of her money through online classes. In 2009 the “Queen of English” expected to make about 7 million dollars.

Richard Eng English, Hong Kong

Richard Eng is one of the first celebrity tutors from Hong Kong and ultimately helped launch the trend in the Hong Kong tutoring market. Twenty years ago Eng began working as a teacher. He would teach his school students during the day and at night he worked as a tutor. Over time he was able to grow his evening classes through word-of-mouth, and eventually opened up his on tutorial school. It was around this time that Eng ramped up his expansion efforts and began advertising in local newspapers and on television.

Richard Eng recognized the fascination and obsession with celebrities of many young people and began marketing his tutoring business with this in mind. Using billboards, glossy brochures, eye-catching TV commercials and model photo shoots to promote his business and his tutors, Eng was able to change the image of his tutoring company. Eng and his tutors wore designer clothing, had fashionable hairstyles and began to resemble pop stars promoting their latest album more than tutors searching for students.

Eng’s unorthodox strategy paid off, his company Beacon College now has 12 schools in Hong Kong and has just opened one in Tokyo. He has a total of 50,000 students, employs 300 staff and brings home about 1.5 million dollars a year.

Phang Yu Hon Physics, Singapore

Named one of Singapore’s most sought-after “Super Tutors”, Phang Yu Hon is now also the highest-earning private tutor in Singapore. Mr Phang Yu Hon was previously a research engineer and began teaching in 1997. In his first year he had 8 students and earned less than $10,000 which was a huge pay cut from his previous job. Despite his friends thinking he was wasting his education by pursuing this career Phang Yu Hon persevered, and it paid off. By 2010 he had 200 students and earned $520,000, expecting to earn $600,000 – $700,000 the following year.

Woo Hyeong-Cheol Math Teacher, South Korea

Another tutor from South Korea that has benefited from the country’s education obsession and the online tutoring trend is Woo Hyeong-cheol, one of South Korea’s most well-known and highest-paid math tutors. Woo is not affiliated with any institution that is part of the official school system, but is considered one of the best cram school tutors and makes $4 million per year. Although he teaches in cram schools (South Korea’s exam preparation schools) the majority of his income comes from his tutorials on the Internet, where they are accessed by about 50,000 paying subscribers.

Karson Oten Fan Karno English, Hong Kong

Known as K. Oten and the “Tutor King”, this well-known Hong Kong tutor is both a celebrity tutor and even has a side career rapping with local pop singers. He uses his stage name “K. Oten” in both the classroom and the recording studio. At one point in his tutoring career K. Oten earned as much as HK$2.65 million ($340,000 USD) for 40 days of work in 2006. Evidence of his loyal fans was seen in 2006 when Fan was fired by King’s Glory (one of Hong Kong’s top tutoring companies) and began teaching in Modern Education. He conducted an extensive advertising campaign and invited his students from his former employer to transfer to Modern Education. As a result of Fan’s departure, King’s Glory claimed student numbers fell by about 7,000.

Change is the only thing which is permanent as a cliche. However, in this context one cannot think of anything else. When the change is positive and is not just a fad, it is worth considering it.

It’s a lot difficult to know the dates the beers were made if what you write gets erased. What is there was an easier way out of this mess? Chalkboard bottle labels help you bring about the positive change in the world of conventional and traditional labeling. No change is accepted without tangible benefit from the existing status quo.

1.) The primary benefit chalkboard bottle labels brings with it is durability. Conventional labels have a one-time use and are not reusable, whereas these can be used over and over again and hence saves you money and time.

2.) The next benefit is it is easy to apply the label to the bottle unlike the existing methods which is messy and leaves patches behind in case you try removing it from the bottle saves you time and effort.

3.) The other benefit is you can rewrite on the label by simply erasing off the content on the surface when written by special temporary markers provided with the labels. So this can help you retain the label on the same bottle and rewrite the contents on it with great ease.

4.) Remember this is almost a one-time investment and saves a lot of unnecessary expenditure time and again saving money on the long run.

7 Tips for a Healthy Digestive System

Having a healthy digestive system is extremely important. Whether you are an athlete bodybuilder or average Joe, it’s important for your body to break down and digest foods and convert them into energy as efficiently as possible.

“Your digestive system breaks down the foods you eat into the nutrients your body needs. If you neglect your digestive health, your body could run into problems digesting foods and absorbing those nutrients,” says Krisha McCoy on Everyday Health.

For some of us, digestive discomfort has become a fact of life, like never getting enough sleep or having too much to do. Tips for Good Digestive Health

Good digestive health starts with making healthy food and lifestyle choices. Here are some effective tips to improve your digestive health:

Eat a high-fiber diet: No surprise here. Consuming a diet that is high in fiber will keep foods moving through your digestive tract. It can also help prevent a number of common digestive issues such as constipation, IBS, and others.

Stay hydrated: Always drink plenty of water. Water helps your body dissolve fats and fiber and helps things move through your system more efficiently.

Add probiotics into your diet: Probiotics are healthy bacteria that exist in your digestive tract. Adding more to your diet through food and supplementation will help keep your body healthy. Low fat yogurt, sourdough bread, sour pickles and kimchi are a great source of probiotics. Want to include more probiotics into your diet?

Cleanse and detox: Performing a cleanse on occasion will help your body refresh and recharge, and allow your digestive system to reset.

Limit consumption of processed foods: It’s always best to choose fresh, high quality food sources such as fruits, vegetables, and lean meats over processed and high fat food options.

Exercise regularly: Exercise helps keep food moving through your system as it uses the food you consume for energy. It also helps you maintain a healthy weight, something else that will improve your digestion.

Eat on a schedule: Your body loves routine. Eating frequent, smaller meals and snacks will keep your digestive system working effectively and efficiently.

Following these tips will ensure that your digestive system is working optimally, something that will keep you healthy, full of energy and in a position to achieve your fitness goals.

Is Germ X Hand Sanitizer Effective, and If So, Why?

Here are a few facts that should answer the question ‘Is Germ X hand sanitizer effective?’

-Hand sanitizer in general kills at least as many germs as soap and water. It has been known for many years that washing your hands regularly prevents one from getting all kinds of sicknesses and helps to keep you healthy overall. Most hand sanitizers kill nearly 100% of all germs on your hands when you use them.

– Hand sanitizers are not expensive and therefore there is really no good reason why you should not use them, especially if you have one or more children. Kids tend to touch all kinds of dirty things in the course of the day; in fact, some seem to make a point of touching as many dirty things as possible and then putting their fingers in their eyes, mouth or up their nose. Having something right on hand to clean their hands with will prevent their getting sick and not only that, but teach them good health habits at an early age.

– Germ X sanitizers in particular are not only effective but easy to use. You can get wet wipes that are easy to use on babies and young children, foam sanitizers that are kid friendly and sanitizers that have vitamin E added. There are also Germ X sanitizers that have special scents added, from aloe to tangerine to lavender.

It is not a particular brand that is effective but the fact that keeping the hands clean is a sure fire way to stay healthy and prevent disease and sickness. There are also some specialized hand sanitizers on the market that you may want to consider, such as ones that combat MRSA. MRSA kills thousands of people every year and gets into the bloodstream via cuts and open wounds. While specialized anti-MRSA hand sanitizer is a bit pricier than regular sanitizer, it can be a good idea to keep this in your home’s first aid kit. You can get either the wipe version or the foam version of the sanitizer and use it if you or one of your kids gets a cut.

If you are not especially particular about what kind of sanitizer you want, then it is easy enough to buy any kind at a supermarket or store. The price varies depending on the exact kind and brand name you buy but generally speaking, they are cheap and well worth the price.
