Lee, Eric, Lauren & Tommy at the auction today. Lauren and Lee bought a house from an elderly couple in town. The couple will be moving out soon and relocating to a smaller house. Today they had their auction to clean out decades of tractors, woodworking equipment, guns and other toys. We didn’t end up with much – Eric got two garage organizers with lots of tiny drawers filled with nuts, screws and bolts. We have been lacking the necessary "junk drawer" of screws for a long time, and I think we will be all set with these two purchases. Lauren and Lee bought a huge toboggan… which makes me very excited for Winter. By far, the coolest purchase was by proxy for Eric’s dad. They were selling a kiln, which hopefully his dad will be able to use to cure metal (knife blades, etc). We aren’t sure that it works very well, but when we bought it for him for $35, we decided it was a worthwhile investment. Maybe now I can do pottery! Fun!!!!
